Protect Black Joy

United Artist Releasing wanted help promoting the release of Till, a film that tells the true story of of Mamie Till-Mobley’s pursuit of justice for her son, Emmett. The 22 team developed a campaign centered around the power of the two’s connection rather than the tragedy of what happened to him by starting a movement to #ProtectBlackJoy. They called Vanessa and me to tell us we won the pitch while we were at a Halsey concert. It was a really good day.
